Installing, configuring and patching
If you like, we can install and configure your Progress OpenEdge RDBMS. We also provide regular and emergency patches, after we have checked whether these patches are relevant and necessary to your situation.
Performance management
SPS monitors the performance of your Progress databases and intervenes when performance degrades or is set to degrade. Even if you see a decrease in performance on your own and do not know what the solution is, SPS can help you. SPS knows how best to tune both old and new versions of Progress databases.
High availability, backup and disaster recovery
We will set up the backup environment for you and implement a disaster recovery solution. We will also make an HA solution for your production environment. SPS knows the ins and outs of various products. We advise and support you in making the right choices.
DBA
SPS is your Progress database administrator. We support your DBA or assume the DBA role entirely. We are not a classic ‘expertise outsourcer’. SPS is your part-time DBA, temporary DBA, remote DBA, or your database administrator’s trainer and consultant.
